Thinking of going to Mortimer. Is the gate still locked, and if so, how do I get a key?

OK, thanks, that would be great. I'll leave unlocked, but with bar in place while sailing and drop the key back after sailing.

I am thinking of seeing what Cremorne is like. Descent swell forecast and offshore wind (so if it goes completely pear shaped then I may see you guys over at Carlton). Talking with Damo he reckons I'm dreaming thinking that Cremorne will be on . Well, I will dream on, but if it skunks me, then I'll probably head to Mortimer for a sail. I have a key. But don't rely on me turning up if there's swell at Cremorne.
Intending heading down there about 2ish.

Well, I was wrong about Cremorne. We checked it at about 1 yesterday and it was flat. Goats was ominous and looked like it would chew up rigs. Went to Mortimer and met up with Pete, Dave, Paul and (later) Kazza. Dave rigged a 6.2 and took off into the distance. The rest of us were on 4.7 to 5.5 and floundering ... until the front came in. I changed down to a 3.7 and was being rag dolled. We'd picked it to be around 40 knots. Not sure how Dave and Kazza survived those conditions with big sails! And in the gusts, the rain stung like wasp stings. Harsh!

Bring on summer Marty's fault, he kept giving reports on Whatsapp which totally got me amped up and out there.

Well, now you DEFINITELY can't trust anything I put up on Whatsapp now. This feels like a challenge to see how many times I can BS you about supposedly awesome conditions - that end up being rubbish.
Challenge accepted!
