Hey surfers,
I'm planning on moving to tassie in the next few years, just wondering what windsurfing is like in Tasmania?
-where are the best locations?
-what sort of knots do you get and how often?
-are the winds constant or gusty?
-flat water or waves?cheers!

We're all biased down here we reckon it's fantastic!!! But then we are Tasmanian. Google 'windsurfing Tasmania the spot guide' it's a website with most of the sailing spots, it never got finished so there's a few great spots missing like Stanley for flat water and speed and Kelvedon on the east coast for wave riding plus a few others but it'll give you a good idea of what we've got. My take it's second only to WA. If you do come to Tas think about where you live to get the best sailing.
Oh and the wind if often gusty we just get used to it.
