Kazza, can you post the Windsurfing Tas events calender onto this site. Good for the guys that aren't yet members or haven't sent their email address through to see whats happening this season.

The official Calender of events 2010/2011 & membership form. This season is going to be an absolute blast with more learn to windsurf days, more people have got GPS's and having a go at the GPS Teams Challenge (even with wave gear) and people are starting to buy Slalom boards again. Something for everyone.

Hi Kazza, looks good. Is there an updated WT website, (I can only find this one)
www.windsurfing.org/tas.htm
to download a copy of the form?
Cheers

Not really sure what's going on with the new website, we'll have to ask Dave A (FOS) about that one, he's designing it. Howz it going Dave?
Meanwhile if you want a membership form Personal Message me your email address Easty and I'll send one to you.

Apologies if I've trodden on anyones toes!

I just rang John Rhode and he hopes to find some time tonight to have a look at getting the changes made to WT site.

While I'm on it, is there any movement on the Pitwater scenario? Let me know if I can do anything. Actually, if nothings happened I'm keen to get things rolling as soon as possible!

Go for it Buzzy if you want to get things rolling. Clyde was going to write a letter to the person Damo suggested to, we've just been a tad busy and haven't done it yet. So if you want to do something about it, we'll back you, sign things etc.

Hey Kaleb, I haven't had any luck with DIER myself, but I've been speaking to someone lower down the chain. Spoke to Damo today and he said that you have all the details of the right man to speak/write to, good luck and hope you get a great result

Hope we somehow get some wind on the weekend, forecast doesn't look good for wind but the temps a rising at least

No joy from my end, this was the reply from Darren from DIER

Jez,

At this stage we cannot give out a Key with out the permission of The General Manager. I received another call from Windsurfing Tas regarding the same issue they are dealing with Alison Lander who looks after all our permits etc.

As I mentioned in our last conversation I suggest you write a letter to the GM asking for approval for access to the gate . There are a couple of issues that need to be addressed that I do not have the authority to progress.

· Litter that is dumped when you are there

· What happens if a key is lost or a copies are made and handed out

While this might not happen we still have to consider all possibilities.

Regards

Darren

Thanks Jez

All in hand, I have drafted up a proposal. If we are granted access it will be for use by Windsurfing Tas members during events, such as GPSteam challenge. There will be many restrictions and still access will be limited.
See how we go!

On thread. I have put the rest of this years events into the seabreeze calendar.

This means you'll start to see them appear in the side bar on the right.

That's over there Anthony --->

Or on the news menu at the top.
