Looks like Marion ain't gonna happen
I reeeeeckon we'll get a seabreeze so the lagoon and Clifton will be the option in the south

Think we're just going to have to see what it does. I'm thinking maybe 5 mile or the pond or if its NNW

Had a seabreeze at the lagoon for 20 minutes this arvo, hope it's better tomorrow!
Will be taking the kiddies and kayaks, if it gets to 38 degrees it will be good to just get wet.

Windy already down here! Just drove around to Dorans, wind is probably about 18knots from the NW/NNW

Not sure where that reading is from but Hobart airport is 17-21kn NNW

Maria Island is about 14kn

Russ and I a going to check out the causeways at about 9.30am and suss out what is going on, may end up somewhere else though.

I reckon a bit to N in it for Dorans at the moment, just a bit gusty. If it swings a bit more W it will be good on the high tide for some speed.

I went 7 mile to the last day area, where I saw someone had graffitied the trees with advertising stuff.

However good practice on new 10'6 SUP in the little 1' swell

I gotta say the difference is massive between the 10'6 and the 11' sups

Maybe a sea breeze this arvo ??

It's been really wind on the ridge up in Fern Tree. I think we need to build an artificial speed strip along the ridge top and get rid of all the trees for good measure.

Actually, the top of Mt Wellington would probably be even better!
