The WT committee is putting together the events calendar at the moment, hopefully published soon.
In the past few years there have been multiple wave events in the calendar, which often don't eventuate or are poorly attended.

There is a proposal this year to plan a single "State Title" wave event approach.
There could be entry fee(s) with money going towards cash prizes to entice participation, beers & bbq's ?

Throwing it out there to the wavesailing community, what sort of event would get the most participation and support?
Location, timing, format to be decided. Give us your thoughts (or forever hold your peace ).

It would have to be a Marrawah event to keep the long running ( 35 years) tradition alive i suppose.

Marrwah round Christmas / early new year. Expression session voted by peers. That time of year any forecast with 3 + mtrs swell with sea breezes will be on (s or ne )
