Thursday afternoon/Friday morning are looking OK for the North coast. I still have the Quad demo board so contact me if you want to sail it on these days.
OK the forecast is for a 15 knot westerly building up to 30 knots by the middle of the afternoon on Thursday and Friday should be 25 knots westerly in the morning swinging WSW at 20 knots in the afternoon.
Nice... and a forecast top of about 9 tomorrow!!! enjoy...
Nah I think you may have been looking at the minimum temperature, should be about 16, still not great but better than 9 I think its about the same up your way tomorrow, so not to bad
Well a successful mission to Bell Buoy, rain all the way there then it cleared and we were treated to a couple of hours of thirty knot westerlies with the gusts peaking in the high thirties. The swell was short and messy ( worse than an oompa loompa bucks night) and at times chunks of water were lifting as the bigger gusts came through. Some big but sketchy jumps were had and some DTL later in the day as the wind swung westerly, plenty of swimming too as speed and lack of match fitness combined.
