I've got Thursday off and it looks like a solid southerly.

Maybe a little cool, but hey.

Any ideas? I was thinking maybe the pond or cremorne beach.

You blokes are lucky. With all the rain here I've been flooded in and can't get anywhere. The road has been cut in both directions and the most I can travel is about 1K. Should be interesting when I can get to the water though, I saw a tree being washed down the creek and makes you wonder what will be lying in wait out in Georges Bay.

ICE, so why drive - get the board out and windsurf to the shop for milk

Jez - yep lagoon - I was looking and maybe I'll try for early about 10am seems to be a big start.

Maybe take enough lunch and drink to see me through the day.

SSW tomorow, the pond might be ok if it's more S than SW. Looking at the 4 day chart it looks like Sunday will be good at Dorans.
I'll throw my gear in the van tomorrow and see what it looks like at lunchtime. If it's still pi$$ing down I think I'll wait for the weekend.

Hi Guys

Given the westerly aspect I might go for this

www.google.com.au:443/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode&q=The+Boat+Shed,+Sandford,+Tasmania&sll=-42.993725,147.471886&sspn=0.019775,0.043602&ie=UTF8&hq=The+Boat+Shed,&hnear=Sandford+Tasmania&ll=-42.926766,147.42794&spn=0.158375,0.348816&t=h&z=12
also known as mortimers bay ( I think I always get the name wrong.)

Head down Rifle range rd, continue along Gellibrand Dr.

When you get the long flat straight, near the end there is a car park , go through that and follow the track around.

I'll SMS Jez

Well I got there about 11 - and had a good go for around 3 hours

then Jez texted me scared he might get a little mud on his 1956 bitsu****ty magma.

I talked him into having some balls and he came around. When I left to get some lunch around 3m) he was just about to launch.

Yes I was being a bit soft and really did think I was going to get bogged and stuck there forever haha Lucky I had you Dave to talk me through the situation and get me around safety

It was really windy and gusty but I ended up having a good/slightly frustrating sail for a couple of hours. (thought I was going to have a reeeeeally bad one because of how gusty it was) Really nice spot Dave!

Good to meet you to Graham and good to see you joined up to seabreeze

Dave as per our conversation today, I use CopyTrans Manager to my manage my itunes its free but this software isnt open source. Their a open source alternatives out their have a look on sourceforge. But I recommend CopyTrans Manager because it has really good features and is easy to use oh and I HATE itunes.
Sounds like you have to start loving Apple so you may want to stick with itunes haha if you do want to stick with itunes I have used software called iPodME to convert videos to the file format for ipods and then use itunes to copy the video to your device.
