Big is always 40 knots!! Always

Wind is no longer looking that great. Howver, Steve and I are still planning to go to Mortimer. I reckon around midday so we can sail the afternoon (with Russ). Wind is forecast to be quite windy in the late morning and and again later in the afternoon, but should still be wind enough to sail all day, so midday for an afternoon sail should be OK!!

Hopefully the northerners can get out for some proper speed runs. I reckon we'll be able to get some close to 30 knot NM's down south and maybe a good 1hr if the wind isn't too gusty.

Just checked out dorans and seven mile.
nice swell at s/mile , great for jumping and bit of onshore riding etc.
Dorans was 25 knots west/sw.
Seven mile needs a bit more south/ sw to fill in ( day use area 2).

Great to get an update Damo!!

Yeah, maybe Doran's will be better than Mortimer, if the wind isn't that strong. Seems to funnel into Doran's a lot more, especially if it does have a bit more west to it.
