G'day Dave, looking at the map we've got more chance of rain than wind, specially in the south.

Unfortunately, it appears the bureau was right!! We may still get a late southerly change on Sunday (here's hoping), but not looking too good.

So much for what was looking like an epic blast!!

Its a low pressure system so anything is possible but generally the conditions don't make the drive worthwhile. It should be good by Thursday or Friday next week.

No wind at Bicheno either fairly warm day for winter though. I'm cladding the outside of the shack down here this week so hoping for some wind so I can knock off. Wed is looking good

Us gun ho's (Clyde & I) did the Ben Lomond Descent on Sunday. No wind there but there was plenty of mud! I did the MTB & paddle, Clydie Boy did the run. I think I'll stick to the oceans, paddling down these little rivers getting wiped out by willow trees and dropping down huge weirs seems a little death defying to me. I'll take my chance with the sharks instead.
