How painful is it when it is blowing consistent 24-30knt NW stuck inside able to see the water and just wishing you were somewhere else. Needless to say I haven't been productive this afternoon.

Moorlands, Port Sorell; low tide early tomorrow, late tomorrow arvo, sounds like I need to mysteriously come down with something.

yep, I feel for you... I cant even see the water but knowing its windy is bad enough...

Tomorrow is certainly looking good... what time do you think the speed run will open up in the afternoon?, not sure if its worth the trip up or will it be dark

I know how you feel. Im looking at heading out on sandbar in the morning. Then was planing on either a wave sail or surf in devonport in the arvo. But i dont have my ute back Atleast i have the day off though...Sorry to rub it in

Ben, i wouldnt bother with a speed run in the arvo, will be dark unfortunley. 6:30am start on water tomorrow, if windy.

It has calmed down a lot so I doubt you got out this morning Izaak. Hopefully it builds this arvo Ben for Low Head!! After waking this morning and not hearing the roaring I didn't take a sickie, might see what this arvo brings and head home early... Moorelands would be good around 3pm especially with the swell the way it is.

Well I left Hobart at 4.00 this morning, got to Port Sorell, about 7.15, and NO WIND!!!
Luckily I had other things to do, a flatwater sail was to just be a bonus for the trip.
And my Dad said it was super windy all night! (Surf in Mersey Rivermouth was going off)

Feel for you there, that sux..

When the wind did come in I reckon it had too much north in it for the speed run anyways.....
