Looks like an easterly building for the weekend at Stanley. I'm keen...who's coming. Maybe some runs out in the bay would be fun as well as some flat water blasting.

Yeah go on, rub it in. You know my wife's relatives are coming to stay for a couple of weeks and I can't get away. No riding for me until after Christmas.

If it looks like averaging above 15 knots I'll be down there.
Good fun session down there today with not a lot more than that, up to 22 knots maybe at times.
Light to moderate easterlies are a totally different story to the strong westerlies.
Not the same adrenalin buzz of course, but smoother water and steadier winds.
You can sail on higher tides, which means less walking around the channels.
Non stop easy fun.
And with a low hanging around, there's alway a chance it might shift position a bit and kick up to 25+.

Looks more like the real deal. I reckon they're trying to put on a show for you guys.
Fingers crossed the forecast hangs in there.
