Forecast is for a moderate Easterly all day, should be fun.
Low tide isn't until around 4.30 but there should be flat water by 1.00 ish
See you there...

'We just don't have the right equipment' ha ha

I realised my fin was way tooo big.
My spectacular lift off that was witnessed by one of the guys in the earlier session reminded my of why all you guys wear headgear and PFD's.
I had whip lash all week.

great time anyway and seems everyone enjoyed themselves... even Cookie who made a great big hole in his very expensive board.
I don't have good experiences with 'brown' water either. Best to wait till low tide so we can see what's there.

thanks guys

Great speed for the size of gear you were on Ben. I remember doing similar tricks when on a 95 l board with a 34 fin.

For me 37 kn on that combo was a max safe speed, after that it becomes more risky.

Looks like a good few days at Stanley this week starting Monday. The best is forecast for Tuesday when it looks windy state wide
