Forecast is changing alot and showing a chance for both days here and there. i.e an hour ago wind guru said a solid 20-27 west for Sunday and now dropped off then yesterday brought Saturday up to 15-20 north east. As someone has mentioned maybe postponing the event until a good weekend might be to go but then i think it is getting way too close to Christmas for some. Then we are away for January and that's half the reason why the event is on this month Also access to jet skis and boats for setting buoys ect next month may be limited as well. My view is that it is on for this weekend as there is not much you can do about the wind.

Hmmmmm, not looking crash hot on todays forecast, but who knows it could all change tomorrow.cross everything. Marion Bay looks good for slalom races on Saturday if that's any good news.

Hi All,

As the weather is looking very light (no wind now). I think it is best to postpone the Port Sorell event until early 2012 (feb). I will let you all know the date in plenty of time. Please also let others know about the postpone ect. Still happy to have a end of year BBQ on the Dec 10th but would be nice to have some windsurfing evolved for some that will have to drive a fair way. So this is i think the best decision considering wind and racing opportunities.

Also interested in any other thoughts??

Thanks,
Anthony Perkins
