Looks like we will have some westerlies coming through sat. arvo up this way. Have to work in the morning but will head out somewhere in afternoon. Tide is low at port Sorell around 2 so may be thats the go.
Did anyone manage to get on the water at Low Head? Rosevears was doing its thing with 20kts from the NW
Had a great sail at low head with about 7 others..wind started off light then the westerly kicked in and it was good for about 1.5hrs before it backed off again
I did mange to get 1.5 hours in at Moorlands. no swell to speak of. I rigged for the conditions, then it picked up a lot. Made for a lot of hard work. Bloody good fun. Glad you guys got out a low head.
Great day, started on the big gear. While Paul and I were way over at kelso it swung west and picked up 10 knots... made for an interesting run back across... changed down to the smaller gear and got near 2 hours on that too.
Had a 26 on the dial but of course turned out to be a spike
Up to 8 or 9 sailers out late afternoon!
Love the footage...what a great fun run that was ...the camera really captures that well with the boom mount...cant wait to get the raceboard out again
Nice to see you left a little of the audio on the tape. I like to hear the comments. I've only got one complaint.
Where's the catapult??? I thought you always had at least one a session.[}:)]
