Yep, keen to target a 1 hr tomorrow and maybe slip in a NM (and a 40 knot 2-sec peak)!!!

Steve and I are planning to drop a vehicle off at Sandy Bay then drive back up to Blackmans Bay and then sail up to South Arm before heading off the wind for a 1 hr!!

Oh my! Just looked at the wind for the first time and there does seem to be a bit around tomorrow Looks like SW to SSW down south so slalom at Neck end of Mortimer or bump and jump at Sandpits. Beats worrying about my quarantined parcels from Romania, I dont see the problem with a 550 year old coffin myself.

It's the GPS TC "Winter Cup month", with only four days to go ...

Ideally, we target and achieve the following today (while out there having fun)!!

2 sec - already in first place
5x10 - already in first place
1hr - need to beat 22.67 knots (move into first place)
Alpha - need to beat 23.65knots (move into 2nd place)
NM - need to beat 29.36 (move into 2nd place)
Distance - need to beat 108.53 (move into 2nd place)

This would put us on 9 points and push FNQ MOB back to 12 points!! Also push us into 2nd place overall for the year.

No pressure anyone ...

Steve and I are still planning to go out off Sandy Bay at around midday to target the 1hr and distance ...

Any other takers ...

1hr - need to beat 22.67 (to move into first place) - we got 22.10, so close
Alpha - need to beat 23.65 (to move into 2nd place) - no change
NM - need to beat 29.36 (to move into 2nd place) - we did it - we got 30.62
Distance - need to beat 108.53 (to move into 2nd place) - we did it - we got 120.34

Also push us into 2nd place overall for the year. We did it - we are now in 2nd overall

We're coming second for the month.

Well done to all who sailed. Maybe we can improve on the alpha tomorrow!!
