It looks like a real ball breaker outside,
The mountain is very white and the wind is not hapenning down at Lauderdale yet.
c.mon summer.
B-all wind on the river but wouldn't be supprised if it blows later, plenty of swell.Might take the boys to see Batman-getting soft.
Got down to Dorans around 6.30am. Driving through falling snow along the Southern Outlet. Snow down to the bottom of the mountain and it doesnt get much colder than this. Not much wind, rigged up and then Dave, Jez and Rusty arrived. Wind looked like crap when it it did come in a bit. Had one run out and dogged back in. Waited another hour in stupidly cold weather, then had enough and left around 10.30am. Jez and Ken were rigging, not sure if Dave and Russ were going out or home.
Ended up going out after waiting around for almost 3 hrs. Got 20 minutes into what was going to be a 1 hour and the wind died. Waited for about another half hour with no wind and decided to pack up. Quite a few out. Kazza seemed to be on the plane most of the time.
Over powered on a 4.7 and 76 litr waveboard all morning
Sunny with a bit of rain every now and then.![]()
Few photos from the Eastern inlet, Stanley. Taken by Johnny.
