Sailing in the north this weekend

If anyone is interested, looks like a good weekend for a sail in the north. A few of us will be around and looking at the options later in the week as the forecast develops.

You better hang around for Sunday too Rod - at this stage I'm out Saturday, but very keen to hit the water Sunday.
The Lagoon might cop a belting this weekend!

Johnny, plan to be there from Friday arvo to Sunday. Looks like Bob the Builder will be along if he can tear himself away from the construction site. Be good to get the gang together, will have the van along (read cold beer in fridge here) BBQ could be the go, any chance of Sunday lunch?

Looks like I'm safe either way, I've been a lesbian since my tongue could touch my nose

I see no reason why lunch Sunday at Lagoon Beach shouldn't be an unofficial Windsurfing Event! Wind or no wind, I'll be there.

Looks like Saturday is the better day. I will just have to drag myself away from the renovations and come for a sail. I propose a BBQ and beers at the Bbq's at lagoon bay Sat. night

East beach early Saturday before lagoon could be a goer?? Couldn't it?

What does it mean if you take a GPS out in the waves??

Silly and not worth the worry of having it on your arm IMHO unless you wear one with are altimeter

But the day all the Hobart crew turned up at Bell buoy you guys had done a runner to Greens Beach so you missed all the goings on..Houston raving about his backside moves....guys dressed up like George Michael looking like they spend all their time at the MONA gallery......crazy stuff..

bell buoy is looking pretty good for tomorrow. been a while so I hope the forecast comes through this time

certainly does. shame i'm down south. Hopefully- If you don't plan on being early, it will stay on forecast.

After Pauls good thinking the "Taste of the Tamar" is on again, this is a BYO event. Will be held at lagoon bay after either its dark or the wind drops out! all welcome

Sure you cant be tempted to bell buoy Izaak?, could be pretty funny watching me in waves

I'd be keen mate, but gotta get some slalom in before nationals. After that ill be looking at a few wave sessions!!
