I live at Dolphin Sands. Is there anyone who regularly sails off Swansea/Great Oyster Bay?

G'day Michael,
Not regularly, but a few of us will make contact with you when we plan to be around the area, and hopefully catch up for a sail. I'll flick you a PM as well - will try and encourage others to post on seabreeze (here) if they're around your area too ;-)

I go up now and again to the block, usually sail the swan river or off the mouth, you can get some nice speed runs in the smaller channel on south side of river near the private jetty, almost directly across from River and Rocks, need a raked fin though

I have had a few good sailing sessions down there this season. I think the Swansea/Dolphin Sands area is highly under-rated as a windsurfing venue. We has a Windsurfing Tasmania event down there in November which was great.

Hi Michael
I'm usually in Swansea every 2nd or 3rd weekend and for longer periods during the school holidays. I mostly sail off the main beach in front of the motel (rigging on the lawn) or from the public access to Kennedia Beach (rigging on the mown area at the end of the track). I'm almost always on my own and don't believe there are any local sailors there. We should catch up
Cheers

Hi Michael, I lived in swanwick and most often sail in the river when the tide is high. Give us a yell if you are out for a sail in the river. I'm no expert but it feels good to have someone to sail with
