Thought this was worth posting, we leant the learner boards to Dave and Katya from Ireland while they were working here in Tassie


Hi Anthony, I got your email off one of the windsurfing sites...

I just wanted to send you a quick note of thanks for helping us get started with the windsurfing. It was a pity we didn't get to see you before I went away (Katya is still out there for another few weeks) but hopefully we'll meet again sometime. I'll probably be back in Tassie next year, and with luck my windsurfing skills will have come on a little.... hopefully they will, as I just today joined the Irish Windsurfing Association :-)

Anyway, thanks again, and if you're ever up this part of the World give me a shout.

good to hear from you. Yes, I've signed up to the association here and am currently organising some group lessons with a local place - I've managed to talk one or two more of my colleagues into it! I followed the link and saw the post on the WT site. Could you also pass my thanks onto Damian Wallace and Steve Charles, they were the guys who put me in touch with you.
I'll keep you up to date on our progress here, looking forward to getting out on the water soon. It also looks like we'll get funding to go back to Tassie next year so hopefully we'll see you again then.
