Hi peoples,
this has been asked before but im after some up to date tips... I am selling a rather large board.. (195L rio) and am getting a lot of inquiries about post to mainland... If you have posted boards before can you please let me know who you found to be the cheapest? I am not a business so that seems to rule out a lot of them...
thanks
Ben

Hi Ben,

Good to catch up at Stanley. A lot of people (including me) use Transdirect (www.transdirect.com.au/). You can drop the board off to their depot near Montrose and their pricing is good. Or you can have them collect from your door! Everything can be done on-line. They have a good quote system where you just put the post-codes in and the size of the package (LxWxH and weight in kg).

Do a search on Seabreeze for testimonials and more info.

dad says:
australian air express are pretty cheap at $120.00 max to perth. a lot cheaper to Melbourne. you must drop off at airport and buyer must also pick up.
IT is called the freighting for watercraft under 3metres.

also dad uses allalong transport ( boards to Tas from melbourne or sydney only cost 75-85 each). no depots in other states though.
how much is your learner board? there must be someone in tas who wants it

Thanks for the replies, a few good options there.
I am hoping someone pops up in tas wanting one.. make is a lot easier and keeps another board in Tas.
I have it advertised on gumtree ebay and seabreeze so fingers crossed. This is the link if anyone wants a look:

Maybe Windsurfing Tasmania could buy it? Be a good learner board.
