Still got a NE forecast so we could still get a session at Goats though the swell is pretty small

I havnt looked at the beach for an hour but the wind has picked up considerably at home. I can see whitecaps out the back now.
Houston will be at goats at 3pm, I'll be there a bit earlier.
Plenty of swell, Dunally is 17-19 knots, Goats normally gets the same or more.

Waves were great, wind was close to none existant, Russ broke a mast........um Russ how DID you do that? PLEASE explain!!
We all ended up having a few drinks on the dunes, Veatzy and I got into a bit of a tussle in the water, I came off second best and yes there is something weird about my ribs they seem to be clicking when I breath deeply....Veatzy being the usual hypocondriac reckons I hurt his leg....poor little fella
All in all no wind but a bit of a laugh

I did so well used the skinny mast which was first time in about 2 years. Placed the bottom section of the mast base section into the mast connector and extension into the top joint and it worked till in hit a wave then bang. Luff pocket blasted and mast destroyed.
Shame I was looking forward to a run

Ant you need to drink more milk, toughen your bones up.
I enjoyed my first run yesterday, planing, rode a little wave then it all fizzled after that. It would have been so epic if there was more wind, hopefully today
