Looking like it may be OK? Low tide around 9:40am. Anyone likely to be going out? If I came up I could collect the Start Boards if they are available so they can be used at the RYCT event this weekend?

I was thinking about going up, windguru looks really good and WNW. From looking at the chart on the BOM it looks like its more WSW from what the isobars a showing.

I'm going to see what happens and make a call Wed i reckon.

I'll go out Dave if the forecast holds up. Izaak picked the boards up today and has a learner day organised for Wed I think, so they will be at PS.

I wouldn't mind taking a little trip to Hawley. I'll also see how the forecast & work progresses.

I'd love to come up, but it's the second last day of term, wish it was next week already.
Have fun guys!

I will be there sunday if it's looking good, not thursday though.
If boards need picking up and transporting, I can pick up from PS on sunday, will be back in Hobart late wednesday.
EDIT: just re-read original post, and yes it would be too late for the boards for the weekend.

I'm now locked in for a trip up north on Friday, so will try to get a sail in at Port Sorell in the morning on the low tide. Looks like some strong fronts coming through Thu, Fri and Sat, but still shifting around timing-wise.
