Good wind at Bell Buoy today, first wave session... over 35 knots

yeah that was rod out for his first time in the waves and he did really well. It was quite windy with gusts over 30kts...good fun and great to get back in the waves. At one stage we had 8 out on the water and a couple of kiters

You sure have got some great places to sail up north. I reckon Tassie is the cold version of Maui we'll call it Paradise Island as long as your wearing a 4.3 wetsuit.

Hello Andy, haven't heard from you for a while, yes, concentrating on getting into the waves now.
Ben, thanks for the video, I relived the pain with you, good fun though. For a beginner it was difficult to get out past the break but once you got out there it is just magic.
It's just a pity you didn't have the camera on when I nailed that forward loop. I was thinking of showing it to Ant so he could see where he is going wrong.
