Friday is looking possible in the north with a 20 knot NW swinging southwesterly at 25 knots. And its going to be a barmy 13 degrees, maybe get the shorty wetsuit out!!

Still haven't sailed my new board so that could jinx it.

Hey Al, I've got a new surfing board I'd like to try too. Come spring, are you going to have some time to check out some waves one weekend?

Don't worry, won't be long now. The winter solistice will only be in a week's time now and then the days get longer.
Don't suppose you've heard from Paul or Ben? Be good to get a bit of a group going in the north.

Im still here... Did have a grand plan to sail all winter... DID have.
After 2 cold sessions at low head and a wasted trip to port Sorell I am staying dry until it warms up to double figures at mid day...
Unless wind is perfect of course.....

Its definitely getting cold out there, though there were still around five people sailing some good jumping conditions at Greens beach (west side of the Tamar) on the Sunday before last. That's impressive even for the middle of summer.

Hello Ben good to hear you are still around. With luck I'll be up that way in a couple of months. By the way, get Paul to check his mail.

Well Bell Buoy was OK this arvo, a typical winter sail with the sun just a hand span above the horizon, a very fluky south westerly of around 10 to 20 KTS and a couple of foot of messy swell. Roll on the weekend and hopefully some more westerlies.
