Planning to sail there today, from midday. Anyone got a key and/or will gate likely to be open?

I got 4 of the keys off Clarence council about 4 years ago. Kept 1 myself, but the other 3 went to Windsurfing Tas. They came with a $36 deposit.
It's a difficult thing to manage. Maybe go back to Clarance council and ask for another key? CCC said they weren't going to cut any more, but I don't see why they can't. If enough of use pester them I'd be a little surprised if they didn't.

We need to get the key back from Al and work out a location for it to be kept. I thought FOS had agreed to keep it in his mailbox or located somewhere like that at his gate. I may be wrong there, but it seems like the best solution if FOS does not mind.

Yes I got the key from Ant over winter.
Sorry Dave didn't see post.
The idea was to have it in the letter box of 11a tranmere Rd being on the way from town 2 Mortimer Bay. it is a much better suggestion as was suggested before for it to be at foses place in a spot we all know about with a notebook to say who has the key and what time+phone no . They would leave the lock undone for others using it at at the same time. Fluro's idea is great.

Be good at FOS's place, then if anyone checks and it's not there, they know the gates unlocked. If FOS doesn't mind!!

I dont mind, we can keep it my meter box, or near the letterbox.
The meter box is probably more secure and away from the road.
If it was at the street without being secured i would feel a little nervous.

Dont you have one buzzy?

For those with a trailer you can stop in prospect rd and cross over on the way in, or head into the driveway, theres a turning circle at the end.

The key together with a sign out book is now in foses meter box ready to go.

Name, time/date, phone no so we can keep track.
I also put the person who borrows it should be the one to return it.
Last one out locks gate.
Hope you all think this is OK
If not change it
Hope that works and we can all get in.
