Thought it about time I shoved a few pics up of my trip to Morocco last May.
Prue and I spent 4 weeks travelling around the country and then a week on the coast with Jem Hall and 10 other guys pretty much as nuts as we are back home.
As you can see the sailing conditions weren't fantastic but good to learn on as it wasn't too big and had great variety.
The whole thing was a very humbling experience when after the first day I realised I couldn't sail for sh.t and pretty much had to go back to basics.
Jem was a bloody humorous but professional coach and if there is one thing that I took out of that week it is to learn how to teach yourself using DVD's and pick out a couple of mates back home and get them to help......and listen. So this is the first year I have ever actually thought about learning and improving rather than just go out for a blast.
Jem is a full time professional coach holding 2 week clinics in Mexico, Brazil, Rhodes, Ireland, Mauritius, Morocco and UK, great people, bloody good fun, learn heaps.
Excellent selection Ant, about time we got some feedback on the trip! Did you manage a full loop?
Yes I did but only one and the proof has disappeared into Jem Hall's archives so I just have to do some more in full view of all my sceptical mates Jem reckons one doesn't count anyway
