Made another stupid mistake! Looked at Goats about 4 no wind light ESE. It looked like it was coming but thought I'd head back up to Dorans. It was about 3 knots stronger than yesterday. Had an average sail and started heading home. Got home 6.45 after a stop off and a few runs in the Lagoon(wasteof time) and low and behold blowing its boobs off at Goats AGAIN,Double Bugger!!!! http://www.datacall.net.au/weathernow/devlist.htm?rsn=09100330&longtime=
I thought it was strange you all sailing at Dorans, I was on my way to Goats when I saw all you guys out. I left work at 4.30 and checked the Iron Pot site before I left and the wind had swung then and picked up.
Kazza, you and I the only wave sailors left, Buzzy got a saw foot when he fell off his donkey so now only sails dorans on a north easterly, even that's a bit rough, might hurt his little toe some more, Jodie told me he now trains in the bath at home
Yer Ant, we're the hard core (apple cores) wavesailers, pity there's never any waves & wind at the same time though. If I got a GPS then I'd have so many toys I wouldn't know which to do when, what and how.
Easy Kazz! Buy a GPS and use it no matter what sport your doing, then it's just part of you normal kit for everything. It would be real handy on that surf ski!
The pressures on Would the GPS help me to stop tipping out of the surf ski in the slop. They say it's all time in the bucket, how can I spent time in the bucket if it keeps blowing!!
