I'm thinking of taking the day off to have a go at this
But what do the GURU's think - is there going to be wind ?

I am going to say yes....but....only for the north coast....don't know enough about down south and I will probably change my mind tomorrow.....the forecast is so unreliable at this time of year. I am still amazed that we got three consecutive days of wind and waves around Easter....I think that's a first.

Wed looks promising down south also

SOUTHEAST COAST, Tasman Is to South East Cape

Wednesday: Winds: West to northwesterly 20 to 30 knots tending west to
southwesterly 30 to 35 knots during the morning. Seas: Up to 3 metres increasing
to 3 to 4 metres during the afternoon. Swell: Southwesterly 1.5 to 3 metres
increasing to 3 to 4 metres from the late morning

Could be anther good day for Dorans, Carlton or Sandpits

yeh wednesdays looking pretty good down south.
I'm keen for a 1 hour and NM, wont get out till about 4 though.

So I've taken Wednesday off work (they owe me some time)

Where and when ? (I've seen 2 say around 4 but not where)

Goodluck to all those that get out and hope you have a great sail. Forecast is certainly looking good. I can't make it out, but will be keen to see everyone's GPS posts!!

Cheers Dave,

looking forward to a good run on the new board, Hope the wind is still in when I get there. Naish Stealth backup sails today, looking forward to the new KA to replace my 6.6 koncept. Should be here soon

I've got the WT GT31 in my car - sorry, will have to get it back to someone on the eastern shore - might drop it off to Steve early this afternoon so he can bring it if he heads over later today!

Heading to low head for a sail...wind is 20-25 wnw so it should be good apart from the high tide which will make it a bit bumpy...first sail for a month..woohoo

Peter and i Had a good sail at Mortama bay wind nearly froze the finger tips off next time it's the washing up gloves
