The gentleman's club had a great sail at Chardonnay Bay, probably the best I've had for a few years. 25 knots consistent with smooth runs between the waves. How did the goats fair at Goat Bay.

It's always been a favourite of mine. I'm surprised the outer location isn't on WT's Spot Guide even if access is difficult. Which route did you take to get to the beach given vehicle access is banned on the spit?
Those who have off-road vehicles, don't even think of trying to get around the barriers. You will be fined if caught. In addition to this there are buried spikes laid to rip tires out.

Relic.
need to forward it on to Johnny Huet to get it on the guide.
You have to walk through the track onto the beach from the carpark, on a high tide you can sail round and back.
The track is a bit of a prick, literally as it is a bit overgrown and narrow.
Yes i remember some guys ( windsurfers) getting a $200 fine from Parks rangers a few years back.

oh yeah, Goats did not really happen.

Well I had a good hour and a half sailing closeouts at Goats and it was good fun, not sure what happened to the spectators! Wind kept blowing for another hour or more after getting out!

Guys - email whatever you have through to admin@thespotguide.com.au - use one of the other spot guides as a template, and fill in as much of it as you can. A google map with track details on it would be good - even where to park, and walk from sounds like it might be the go for this spot perhaps?
Can be a work in progress - but yea, any info is better than no info.
