I got there at 6am and had a little nap in the car as it looked rather unappealing. Rigged a 5.8m and headed out just as Jeremy & Russ got there. Unfortunately the wind had gone up about 5 knots whilst I was rigging so I got belted but did manage to sail back to the car park (okay, there was some body dragging involved

).
Rigged a 4.7 and then had an absolute blast. The waves were smooth and it was a fun ride. Unfortunately I had to be back in Hobart by 9am so only got about twenty minutes of sailing in. A pretty poor driving/sailing ratio :-(.
The new board (Isonic 94) is brilliant, way easier to sail. I can't wait to see how fast I can take it in good conditions.
