Al Planet, Rustbucket, we're assuming Bell Buoy will be the spot...is that correct???

If she is from beechford I'm down.

I don't know which beach would be better... NW is east I think and W is bell buoy... Maybe

If its 30 knots west though I have somewhere else to be ;)

You can still sail Bell bouy in NW. Today's forecast is looking solid. As does tomorrow. NW tends to go more cross on. Swell will be better at Bell. Hopefully i can get an opportunity to get away.

Can't do tomorrow unfortunately, unless it is honking at portsy... you guys can have bell buoy
Need a local guru, like Al or Jason or Hamish to pipe up - but I think bell buoy would be the best tomorrow, based on this pretty good site I've seen - thespotguide.com.au (kudos to JPotts/Nomadics for East/Bellbuoy info)

Going to head to Portsy today and have a cruisey sail, hopefully it kicks before we get there for a couple of hours.
Safe travels and happy off it's head sailing guys.

Currently the BOM showing NNW. We need it to swing more west to get a good sail in. This direction at Bell Bouy is not that great. This direction anywhere up north is crap. Hoping things will change for you guys traveling.

Latest reading now back to the north. If you are coming north your best bet will be the west Tamar and greens beach. I'm heading that way pretty soon.

Just got back in from a wave sail at Coles beach. Solid 30plus, maxed out on 4.5m. Swell out the back was well over mast. Hectic as!! Good fun though!

Brilliant day up north and by the sound of it everyone from Stanley to Bell Buoy hit the sweet spot
Bell Buoy like Coles had up to mast high out the back but still not too hard to get out.
(Brett, Rob, Al, Fos, Buzz, Veitzy, Ant and someone esle who was sailing when we arrived)

For me it was easliy the best day I've had all season even beat BOL for fun.
In the water by 11am with very strong very on shore conditions, very rough and lumpy was powered up on 4.2m and 74L
About midday the wind swung more to the west the swell cleaned up, great backside wave riding.
Got out of the water at 3pm totally buggered, need to get up there more often
Fos got out the back a few times.....awesome effort........Appleman would say.........you're da man

A taste of the Buoy

After driving through ... um ... driving rain on the way up, with lightning and all the trimmings
It was seriously windy when we arrived at bell buoy.

Some epic air, waves and down the line waves. A great session that lasted around 5 hours.

Very tired al and Houston got photos to come
