This lack of wind is driving me nuts. Forecast for the few days is crap. What a bummer we had no wind in the last week or two for the GPS Teams Challenge.

Yeah a bit rough, but i suppose you cant expect much this time of year. Lucky to get a sail.
You know Steve, back in the day...... 2-3 months straight without wind over winter period.
Time to get some yarn and knit my new summer suit!

What do you call it if Russ has ordered more than 2 boards, a swag of boards.

I think we need to get our distance, 1hr and NM earlier in the month if we can. Seems like the 2sec, alpha and 5x10 is usually really good.

So far, I've only ordered a 2012 replacement for the iSonic 107 in wood-carbon (arrives early September), but I'll probably get a set of new Reflex III's as well (5.6, 6.2, 7.0 and 7.8)!! Also really keen to get a new Formula board - still thinking about that one!!

Ahh well yes I must confess I had no intention or any need to buy more gear, I now have 5 boards in my van..........but still couldn't help myself, just bought a almost brand new race sail off Russ and a 5.8 wave sail off Damo.
We shouldn't feel bad cos we're all doing the right thing for the planet storing all that carbon in our sheds.
I'll ask Julia if we can claim carbon credits, could pay for our next bbq

This is Russ's real Slalom line up
JP 81 Litre
Isonic 86
Naish 95
JP 101 or something like that
Naish 113
Isonic 120 or something like that

2 boards from 3 different brands, very fair

I've ordered a 85 Freestyle wave to replace Jodis Freestyle wave that I killed. Would really like a Falcon 85 and a new quad in the mid 70's, but will have to wait for those.

And Russ doesnt even have a trailer. Russ you should put all those Boards that Buzzy mentioned on your roof racks and take a photo. Or better still put all your sails, booms, masts in your car (might have to rip the seats out) and boards on top and come down to the beach next time you go sailing.
Have ordered 2 new Isonics wood/carbon 107 (same as Daves) and wood 87. The new 2012 Isonics sound pretty damm good.
Also have ordered new Reflex 3 5.1, 5.6, 6.2, 7.0, 7.8, 8.6 (no only joking, they dont come out till Feb 2012).

I'm still here, just been busy doing other stuff. The wind hasn't been anything to get excited about, I enjoy having a break from sailing over winter (unless it's mega) and getting into other sports. Then I find I'm ultra keen for sailing in summer.

Interseted to see how they go when you get it, the black will stand out and act like a heater in summer.
