All of this footage comes from the Flood video vault and is filmed by both Chris and Ben. It was filmed during January, warm water, boardshorts and seabreezes all of which are starting to seem like a distant memory.

I have added the editing and comments which may not reflect reality.... at all. (as usual)

I have titled the video "Low Head Summer 2011" when it was actually all filmed in 2012. This was a "creative decision" by the editor (me) and does not, in any way, suggest that I dont know what year it is.

Got to say that I am not normally the biggest fan of Go Pro stuff mostly because of the shake and strange camera tilt. However I have been pretty impressed by some of speed strip stuff done on Go pro, the flat water helps a lot. I also like the way that the windsurfers fill the frame really quickly it gives a great sense of speed, one of the effects of the wide angle I guess.

The board and camera still need to pretty close together which does require some skill from the riders and some luck and blind trust for the person in the canoe.
