Hey Capi-tan, I saw them at a small pub in Bendigo about 11 years ago, before they had radio play, AWESOME!!!!!
John came out by himself and played non-stop for over an hour (had foot drums as well as his guitar), then he had a 10 minute break and came out with the other guys, and they played for another hour and a half. Was unreal, everyone in the pub knew they would hit the big time sometime - shortly after triple J started playing them.

That would of been fun easty
Do you know easty if the John Butler Trio are still around
Because I don't hear much about them anymore.

They definitely are Capt.

I saw John live in Launceston maybe 6 months ago on his solo tour, but the JBT are still performing. April uprising won many awards last year. He's a freak live.
The below song Live was just unreal, but its worth watching just to see how quick he can strum (if you can call it that)
