Hi Folks,

does anyone know how to measure a Pro Limit harness spreader bar to get the correct size length? I've only been able to find some small info on other bars that suggest you measure flat end to end, but these were with other brands. Depending on how I measure the PL bar, I can get 4 different sizes from it. Oddly enough, measuring it end to end on the flat yields a length that they don't seem to make either. I sent an email to PL a little while a go asking for clarification but they haven't responded (yet..).

I'm considering buying a shorter bar (~20/40mm shorter) because the straps on the current setup are pulled out to their maximum, and I'd like a little more room to move with them.

Anyone in the know here? Cheers,

Hey Veitz,
I might have to fling the question around at a Friday arvo committee meeting but thought I'd see if there were any takers here in the off chance someone knows. I've done a bit of Googling, but searching for "spreader bar" doesn't really help get the answers I'm after - though others may find some of those results a little more useful..!!

He's got a sheep out the back ,as much yarn as you need, and Velcro gloves, but I think Houston has borrowed both for extra curriculum activities.

Velcro gloves are so old school, I'd follow this post and go for a good solid spreader barrr

For anyone interested,

I've been informed that harness spreader bars are measured from end to end and around the curve. To measure what you might need on the harness itself, put your harness on and measure from clip to clip, following the curve of your tummy!

Another option of course is to get a smaller harness altogether, an option I'm also looking into.
