Sounds like you're having an awesome time, great racing, great effort.................and you too Kaz, it's tough to be on the side when we know you'd be up there, they needed you in Brazil this morning for a pep talk

Wow well done guys. Looking at the results It looks like things got a bit turned upside down in the last races with Sean and Rowan doing much worse and Micheal and Luke getting their best results at the last minute. I am guessing that the overall standard was very high. I looks to me as if only one discard was allowed then Kalib would have been third, the same result with no discards.....very impressive.

My calculations may be wrong, Maths not really my thing......maybe Houston could confirm it as I am sure he is a lot smarter than he looks ( I think I mean " than he acts")?

Thank you guys! It really means a lot to know the guys at home are fully behind us. Dave, Kazza and I gave it our best! And I just got home so Benny Newson and Rowan are in trouble for leading me astray.

What an event, strong winds every day allowing nine full Tables of Slalom racing and five separate Freerace's!! That's more sailing in a week than I've done all year!! Well done to Kaleb for placing 4th overall in the Slalom and winning the Freerace. A pity Karen didn't get to compete in all the events owing to her foot injury, but she did well in the races she did compete in, especially the Freerace on Day 1. Hopefully next year we'll get a repeat of conditions and have a few more Tasmanians there! This is definitely an event and a location not to be missed for anyone wanting to sail warm waters in winter.

Well done Tassie crew , Buzzy you are a freak not many windsurfers doing so well in national wave comps and slalom comps almost two completely different sports!

Kazza, that 97 iSonic was such a fantastic board and thankyou so much for letting me use it. I want one!! My iSonic 90 is now officially for sale. I will PM you to discuss if you want to sell that one and have it replaced with a new one (as I've probably sailed it more times than you now)!
