Looks like another good setup for Goats, swell could be small but wind looks good. I'm tied up at work but may be able to get down there by 6pm for a quick one.
I'm sure Buzzy and Geared4knots will keep you posted.

Thursday: Variable winds to 10 knots tending northeasterly at 10 to 20 knots
during the morning, then freshening to 20 to 30 knots later, possibly 35 knots
offshore and near Tasman Island in the evening. Seas rising to 1 to 2 metres
rising to 2 to 3 metres later. West to southwest swell 2 to 2.5 metres.

Dorans! offshore, nice and flat, can be a bit gusty depending on how much North in it

Cremorne front beach. Can be a **** of a place to sail, looks windy but isn't. some love it and recon its great. On shore with stupid bumpy crazy chop.

Goats gets all the wind and blows for hours after the others have lost the wind making it a great after work place. Even without swell it is fun blasting around the bay heading up to clifton and cgharging back down wind.

Marion Bay. fantastic place to sail, can have good jumping and onshore rides. Bit of a misssion for after work sailing. You can also sail inside on flat water. Ask Dave where to lauch from, I'm not sure.

It is also possible to sail Cremorne lagoon running along the channel with the boats in it, gusty though.

Robs been to Goats and he's been quoted as saying there is enough swell.

At the moment it's 35 knots down there

Robs going back to sail Dorans then head back to Goats after 3 when the after work crew turn up.

If it's 35 now who knows what it will get to, 45?. Then again it could just die out!

I was at doran's with a strong tide going out and very fickle winds. Buzzy got 30knots according to his GPS

Too much north in the wind dave. Wasn't the usual Seabreeze effected NE more a NNE gradient type of wind. Looking at Iron Pot the wind was ranging from 18-40 degrees. It needs to be around 45-85 for Goats(ENE seabreeze direction)

Goats was sailable, just very off shore with small swell. I opted for the GPS approach and headed back to Dorans. It was around 25 and very gusty. The chop was really close together and made it extremely difficult to hold the board down. As you've said before, it's better when its from the west and you can run in the troughs of big chop where it's smooth and controlable. When the tide finally went out far enough to flatten the chop out the wind had gone.

Others sailed at Cremorne front beach. They had fun but the tide was rushing out and made the chop all over the place and messy looking.

Kazza and artus sailed Lauderdale beach, I think they had the pick of it, Veitzy reconded it was the place to be with big chop and good wind.

If its North today I might try Pitt Water after work.

Buzzy and i had a good sesesion at Goats today, in the water 5.30, sailing til the sun set, 7.30 beeeauutifull. had the GPS running, I only got 25.5 knots i think Buzzy might have hit 30, b..stard, he can't help himself, never lets me win.
I had a bit of a rough time on my 110L and big fin in a choppy 25knot NE, interesting trying to keep that on the water at 25 knots over those bumps, went over the handle bars 6 bloody times, more dangerous than waves, but was it fun
Buzzy is busy at home trying to put my data on speedseekers, he's having a battle cos I forgot my name and password, lets see if he gets there.
Cheers Ant the nerd

No! I'm in bed eating chocolate.
And in all seriousness you kicked ass on that board today, regardless of what your GPS says.
