Hey guys, we are going to have a GPS5 comp for the whole month of Feb. Here is how it works:
You can sail any where on any given day in the month of Feb but has to be in Tas.
You can sail in different locations on the same day and combine files.
You must post on KA72.
At the end of Feb or 1st March post what day you did your best GPS5 on this this thread. Must be on here by March 1st.
Results will be then be worked out using KA72.
Winner will be announced March 2nd.
1st place gets a $50 gift voucher from BWS.

In consultation with Steve, I've set up a group on ka72, where the results will be automatically calculated and displayed for each month.

To join the group (AKA enter the competition) go to www.ka72.com/Groups and click the "Join" button on the Tasmania GPS5 Monthly Competition group.

There is a discussion board on the group page for any questions. It's under development at the moment, but the bones are in. You can join now and see how you stand for January. Will use the rest of the month to get feedback and organise the page a little more.

Cheers,
Dylan

Thanks to those involved in making this happen, really good thing.
Just wanted to give heads up I did not do 44 knots plus today... one day but that day was not today... In an attempt to combine files by "save to card" given I sailed 2 locations I have included a small 10 second stint that lets just say wasn't on the water...
I have emailed Dylan to sort this out.

Dont even know where all that came from, was there before I posted yesterday...
So fast, imagine if I was to sheet in
125.1 should be my score - from yesterday, have emailed Dylan again.
