Hey Isaac, I gotta come up north next week, might be windy Wed, but low tide is 1.09m, is that too high for the bar to be exposed? (Full moon tide I think).

Down south Doran's should be the go, haven't sailed for a couple of months and might dust off the B&J gear. Anyone else sailing?

Hey Grevil.
Should be good for Greens.
Felix, Mitch, myself & Geoff are thinking the same.
See what the morning brings!

Will you blokes go and get a job, you're really starting to upset me with all this weekday flexibility. If you do have a job can you let me know what it is so I can afford windsurfing gear and sail whenever I like at the same time. I have always joked that I should buy a pushbike and wear lycra so I don't have to work, you blokes are just as bad. C'mon let us all in on the secret.

Good luck tomorrow Izaak.

Waynos, just gotta get your priorities right. Tell the boss it's windy and you need to go windsurfing. You can make up the hours later (or perhaps you already work long hours)!!

At the moment thinking of leaving Launceston around 10. Hopefully comes in earlier than the last time I planned ahead!

Waynos -sorry mate but that is funny and sad at the same time. I'm lucky I booked a day off 3 months ago. Just happened to be windy

I am probably better off than most with a really understanding boss but some of you guys week after week seem to be able to get away whenever the wind is about. Do Tell, Do Tell. Fire fighters, police, self employed, high class gigolo ? Uni student doesn't cut it unless Mum and Dad are financing your habit.

Devonport Airport: Southerly 8-9 knots at 7am. The calm before the storm (hopefully)!! King Island is howling NNW.

Went to Stanley, wind direction looked good, rigged up and walked out to the third channel to wait for the wind to pick up. Spent the next 1.5 hours walking up and down the sand banks waiting, waiting, waiting... Must have been the only place in the state with no wind. Should be SW in the morning, hopefully get a sail then...
