Hey guys, I am planing to get out tomorrow after work at Dorans around 3.30pm (wind permitting). I am keen to do a good NM. If someone can back me up we should have this month in the bag. Forecast for tomorrow:
DERWENT ESTUARY, north of Iron Pot:
South to southwest winds 15 to 25 knots, easing to 10 to 20 knots Friday
evening.

Excellent Kaleb, forecast is looking fantastic. Dave said he might get there as well. I have just been looking on Google Earth at Dorans planing my NM.

If SW. Tack up to above the Poo lice academy, as far in towards Droughthy as you can, then turn round. Head towards the Jetty but just up wind, then as you get to within 350-250m of the jetty head down wind and accelerate to 33-34+ and hold it for as long as the wind stays with you.

Damn I was hoping it would be SW. Not too sure where else to go for an NM.

Yer their's a lot of southerly in the direction at the moment. I'm still going to go to Doran's and check it out and see what its actually doing there, rather than just from the web. If its really southerly i might just go and sail in the pond on the high tide (High about 3.40pm i think), will prob be choppy but still ok

Off Mortimer and sail into the back of the neck is good for Nm if too much southerly for Dorans. Or parkon the neck if the tides high.

Great to see so many got out today and WELL DONE TEAM on the NM's !! This really does put us quite nicely in the lead for the month.
