Who is keen to have a formula sail or longboard sail in the river soon off Sandy Bay on a weekend to sort out the new gear and give me some tips ready for spring???

New gear? Have you got new gear? You'll need a bigger shed to store all your stuff. Wot you got?
Yeah I'll hit the "bay", maybe a northerly will be a bit warmer than a southerly at the moment, keep an eye on the forecasts.

Oh, just remembered, you got some formula gear didn't you. Definately a bigger shed - you wont get the board in the doorway of the current one. Of course that will mean a new bigger house as well, might as well have more kids to fill the house up.

new gear??OK only a new fin from Steve and new KA 9.0 to go with the 10.9 I had. I am keen to have a go on this formula gear this year and see what it's like. I am also very keen to get a gps record on our SUP boards when your hand heals up.

I got a backpack hydration pack the other day and I think it will be a good thing for us on the long sailboard runs.

Just rremembered I want to try out Pittwater next northerly - might be too shallow for a formula fin?
Can you put beer in the hydration pack?
Was there a good northerly here today? I was driving the coast around Burnie and it was honking, and literally got blown down the midland highway.

Hey Russ, remember you can use your formula board as the front door of your house, dining table, bed etc etc. Have fun with the monster of a thing, if it's windy enough I'll hit the "Bay" with you on slalom gear.

Did you get rid of your door board? I remember the last dash for cash I went in with you, you were plaining on that cavemen low volume slalom board with a 6.0 in no wind.

I think I need to lay off the pizza!!

I got rid of my door board (dork board as mum calls them). I just found it all with the big sails incredibly exhausting. I don't think they're female friendly unless your build like Amazon Woman or get onto some steroids!!
6 m sails are my limit.
Izaak being a young whippersnapper what size sail is your maximum?

Got in about 2 hours, good to be back on the water, tomorrow looks better, I'll try Sandpits saturday if antone else is up for it.
Took out the GPS reached a PB of 23.6 knots, obviously nothing to brag about but getting closer to 30 k

Great work Ant, you'll have to start posting your results on the gps challenge website!

I'd better not sail tomorrow, supposed to be tapering off for the Winter Challenge on Sunday, don't want to blow our chances!

Yeah Izaak, I've got a bit to go, pretty lame, still haven't worked out how to get onto GPS challenge, though I think I broke the record of the fastest nudie run at Dorans last night in temp of around 9 degrees, just as well you weren't ther Kazza[}:)]

Hey Houston I see you have registered for the GPS challenge the easiest way is to go to KA72 speed reader click upload file browse to find the sbn file on your card on the date you sailed click upload then click post to gps team challenge all done! Then if you want you can make up a story of the days sail but dont let the truth ruin a good story but you already know that At the moment we have a ashes contest with the Poms so if you can post it will give our team 5 PBs and bonus runs for august
