Bugga!! Got relatives coming from the mainland this weekend and I don't think they'd enjoy a trip to Henty getting their heads blown off and freezing cold. Will I ever get there.

I'll have to start working on my leave pass!

My last windsurf was at the Henty... (busy with work & home renovation since then).

Hope I haven't forgotten how to windsurf since then.

mmm, 3 week cold Steve, sounds like what my kids have. Can't beat primary schools for a cesspit of contagious lurgies.
I'm up for Sat arvo down south if there's any wind, but have to head north again Sunday, so could make the arvo low tide at Port Sorell (if I read the tide chart right?)

Ben and I will be at Port Sorell today around 12:30 to catch the low tide for an hour or two warm up for tomorrow...Hoping seabreeze forecast is right for today! Stormy weather is on the way

I've taken three teaspons of cement and am planning to sail Port Sorell tomorrow!!

Various forecasts all seem to show Henty as NW (and we all know what that means [}:)]), down south as quite light until much later in the day and Port Sorell as HONKING!!! Well maybe not that good, but certainly looks the pick of it.

Don't like your chances to today guys. Do you have the airport number?? It saves looking at current weather observations and just tells you what is happening right at the moment is says?? If not, let me know and I will give the number to you.

Thanks for the on location update Izaak

Tomorrow is looking like the day but if Johnny is keen we may go and stand on the beach anyways...
Airport number is saying 180 degrees ATM..... which is not quite the right direction

I went to the causeway prior to the big wind hitting today and the direction was perfect. Causeway with wind like the old days would deliver 40 for sure. So good to have that gate open again

Who will be first over 40 at the causeway
So much exposure to the punters let's give it go and I am sure this would generate some more interest in the best sport ever

cheers Russ
