Dave Morehead breaks 45.7 knots.

Hey guys, it appears that today our very own speed genius Dave Morehead Aus 02 has done over 45 knots at Sandy Point. Big congrates Dave that is sooooo faaasst.
His GPS display was over 46 knots.

Thanks guys, good to break the 45 knot barrier!! Sailing at Doran's is certainly good practice. Felt like there was more to be had if there had been a bit more wind!!

I'm going to guess and go off the GPS team challenge site and say Slowboat's 50.09 knts.
But I could be wrong!

you would know that too Houston....Antoine Albeau 49.09 knots average over 500m.

Yep that sounds right. Kiters have gone much faster. Apparently theres this German guy who is about 40 and lives with his mum. He kites on flooded paddocks and regulary breaks 50 knots.

Here is my max speed on the dial ...

My 500m was 42.03 knots, which is the official distance for world speed records.

We realy need a Burkha (is that how you spell it) to put over Daves head just to calm down the glowplease send more spf 30 sunscreen, umbrellas etc and we might just survive
