Hey everyone the annual Dash for Cash is on again this Australia Day 26th Jan on Tues. Outside or next to Prossers Restaurant at lower Sandy Bay beach. The race across the river is starting 1pm with a breifing at 12.30pm. At 2pm there will be 3 mini races. This event is part of the Sandy Bay Australia Regatta. The Sandy Bay Regatta assoc always kindly donate good prize money. So come along and enter for $10. There will be a bbq and beer at the end. Ph me if you have any
Ps all times have been moved forward this year to hopefully get more people watching.

Cheers Steve Charles 0418641871.

Sorry but just found out they want to start the race at 2.30pm. So we will do the breifing at 2pm. There are going to be V8 super boats racing before then.

Yep well done Ferg who smashed it in the light breeze and the youngest ever winner. He finished in 35 minutes and we did 2 laps. Stew Gordon finished second, Dave beat Steve by 1 meter for third and Paul got a great result for 4th. We only had 8 competitors this year due to the light wind. Everyone on formula gear except Kazza. The beers and pies were great after. Thanks everyone for turning up on a pretty crappy forecast. Next year maybe we can get the kiters involved too if its light wind. Spoke to the committee and they were keen on the idea. Over and out until next year.
