The Bellerive Crown series is coming up once again. It will be held at the Bellerive Yacht Club on the 14th and 15th of February. Windsurfers ARE invited, so if you have a Formula Board, Raceboard, RSX, Bic Techno 293 or anything else you think you could get around an upwind-downwind style course, check out the notice of race:

Head to this link and follow the prompts:
https://www.topyachtsoftware.com/db/aus/entry_menu.php?EventID=422When you get to the page, you'll need to press 'enter series'. You then need to complete some steps to proceed - for step one, select 'OTB Classes'. If you have done some racing before, when you get to step two check the existing register for your details (I know Dave, Steve, and Karen are already in there). To check simply click on the link to the register and search 'Formula' or 'Sailboard'. If you havent done any racing before, select the option to enter a boat not in the register. If you entered a new boat, you'll have to fill out all your personal details. After that you pay the fee and you're done.
It would be fantastic to get a good showing of boards out there, it looks good for the class! The Tassie Board Squad will be out on our RSX's and Bic Techno's, but anything that can get around a course is welcome - the results will be yardstick-ed, or handicapped, so everyone will race on even ground and competing for the top step. I assume launching will have to be from near Bellerive Yacht Club, as we will be required to sign on and off, but on the point there is ample rigging area and parking.
Hopefully we get lots of entrants and its a fun regatta!Cheers,Jock
