The predictions aren't offering anything you can plan by at the moment. BOM is showing a 15-20knot SSW seabreeze at Port Hughes/Moonta on Friday arv, but the 3-7day model is a heads up only. I can't get out of work early for a while anyway.

Ill be there Russ....... am until school pickup.
Forecasting 20-30kts in the morning 2ft swell. sweet if it works
It's been along time between drinks...... actual that might be a problem with to much drinking and the extra kilos added in the break.

Sailed u turns last night for 10 mins before freaking out at the lightening strikes Burt sailed a bit longer - saw bolts hitting the water all over the place - took gear up top - standing at the top in the pergola - blinding flash and crack all at the same time not sure what it hit but felt the air move and the crack started before the flash finished - nearly filled the wetsuit not sure about sailing in thunderstorms

there were some seriously strong squalls yesterday afternoon, but always accompanied by lightning and thunder. when skies would part overhead we'd rush out and sail in some very flukey conditions, but the constant backdrop of bruise-black clouds, rolling thunder and distant lightning kept my teeth on edge.

any precedent of a sailor being struck?
