i like your thinking!!!!!!
But what you really want to say is "I want a place with waves with a SEasterly wind"
I here what you are saying. ive had enough of flat water and gusty SE winds.

But if we can find a place in adelaide metro or 1 hour travel i'm in.

Where proberly heading down to the murray mouth for the weekend so Vikki can get some quality practice in. We will proberly camp at port elliot so we can easily travel between the mouth and sellicks etc. Bashams had a nice wave today, I'd be keen as to try to sail it.

Hope to see you all down south.

Hi Guys

Where is Bashams ?

I would like to do Sellicks, but I don't have small enough sails yet. Hate to drive all that way and be over powered. North Haven might be a safer option.

port elliot. it will be cross on on a south east. Garath we need your input!! im going down there i think. whats the worst that would happen? drive back to sellicks and have a sail. do desperate for some jumps.

Don't worry you'll only be overpowered in the gusts, get to have a nice swim in the glassy patches and be nicely powered up in between and wonder where the gust from directly above came from - I think its god/huey/buddha or what ever you pray to telling us not to windsurf here

The later you hit it the more if fills in - its usually best after dark I would recommend a headlamp tho

All that said Blowin its tbits off down here this morning some easterly runs may be the go

bashams is okay in a SEster, can sail from beach over to the chicken run.

I usually dont sail basham's unless the Hindmarsh meter is showing at least constant 18-19 knots as a SEster can be a bit fickle there.

wont see me there though. broken ankle. no sailing for 6 weeks.

Really if you want cross shore to cross off winds Cape Jervis is the go down south but in terms of waves and exact location who knows and theres the drive over yorkes or down the South East.
Of coarse theres good old Selicks flat and blowing its tits off.
or
do we just wait for Winter where hopefully theres wind and waves every day or is it 2 on 1 rest day.
