Hey guys how's it going just looking for a bit of advice. Me and some mates are looking at a holiday at the end of the year. We want a place near the beach or water generally maybe some wind and waves. We were thinking Victor Harbor or somewhere like that. Does anyone no a good place to go or know of some good accommodation in a good area. We would like to accommodate as many people as we can. Any advice would be nice.

Hi Brodie. I plan to do something like that for my family maybe next autumn.

A few people on here hired a house for the Robe Classic event for a few hundred (off peak). My first investigations would be the paper, or ringing up the real estate agents. realestate.com.au might be worth looking at as well.

Good luck. Worse case scenerio: sleep under the stars

My advice is anyone is never rent your holiday house out to half a dozen surfers/windsurfers/males for a big week of drinking and debauchery.

From the vague memories of my youth it can be a destructive combination

We aren't a destructive group. We respect other peoples property we can have a good time responsibly just looking for a good place for a group of us to have a good time.

Only takin the piss Mc Bain - a boys week away always ended up with something or someone broken in my younger days!!

try Dodd and Page at Pt Elliot

Or the Elders - good chance they'll have a heap on their website to look at - we've rented at Middleton Point before - nice outlook at reasonable prices.
