hi everyone. This weekend looks pretty windy. I'm looking at Sunday as a SW forecast blowing quite hard. Is anyone planning on getting on the water? And if so where and when as I'm not too keen on going out on my own. I normally head for semaphore with a SWesterly. Cheers Mark

Seacliff is the goer in sw fronts. Semi mostly just in summer or if you prefer flatter water. Should be plenty there when it kicks in but ill be there 3or4.

It's looking promising so far here at Middleton this morning. Winds picking up, suns out and swell looks manageable

Lol yes it was a cracker. Was just getting going and got wiped out by a breaking wave haha. Took me a min to untangle myself. Good practice for forward loops hahaha. Going to get down earlier next windy day

Was pretty good conditions out there. Got frustrating trying to line up a good jump though. So many good ramps but rarely in the right place at the right time.

It was a bit frustrating, many runs just hunting for a ramp and most of the time when it appeared just not quite enough puff!. Great to get a few though, all in all a pretty sweet weekend to wash out the cobwebs. Cheers for posting the photos Russ

Today was not as good. Bloody weed and short chop at sems. Still was 25 - 30 knots and at least a sail...

I had quite a good time at the mid on Sunday. Better for forwards. Having the single helped getting off the inside with speed too..

Looks like we all missed EDIT wednesday afternoon at the Mid except for Smithy at U-s (sailing solo for a few hours) & Timmy getting a few crackers at Seaford Reef, cross off and head high sets on the incoming tide. Smithy reckons it was as good as it gets - Timmy was just shredding - 3-4 super vertical lip smacks as it wrapped around the corner - was good to watch in the fading light, rain and dropping wind.
