I'm takin the SUP as well so wind hail or shine Im gonna be hittin the brine!!!!

why do they always have to downgrade. can't they up the forecast as we get closer

Huey will need another injury for an upgrade,any takers?

The swell forecast is now 2ft at Middleton so it could be worth a drive.

If any one is keen on some more expression session events we are planning a few with the introduction of a Windsurfing SA calendar of events - so watch this space.

Everyone seemed to enjoyed the May session and it seems to be a good way to get crew that like wave sailing together.

Once the calendar of events is sorted there will be some posts on SeaBreeze.

If anyone has any ideas on how to run some of these events and make them inclusive of all PM me / post something here, chew my ear at the beach as we want to have enjoyable sessions and try and push everyones wave sailing a bit. There is no better way to push it than being out with crew that make it all look easy.

Some people have spoken about a state titles type event - how would crew feel about that or would you rather just go sailing. I think we could organise it and we have some awesome local wave sailors - be great to have an expression session and followed by the top 6-8 in a 30 min sail off final - I know I'd like to see it.

I know some of you have been there done that and over it - fair call and we can understand you just want to get out there and sail - maybe your experiences from the past could improve it in the future

I think it could work, as long as the fun factor is high, sailors encourage each other, prizes are awarded to people for attending and my favorite BBQ and Beers afterwards.

Tuesday and Wednesday are looking good!

Tomorrow is looking promising as well.

I'm on it down south around lunch time.
18-23 forecast - could be good.

I reckon a state titles - casual format like dzub suggested - is worth a go. It would give everyone a goal to work towards with their sailing. Like in my case, learn to jump on starboard tack before the state titles

as long as its after august!!!

Great Idea. State titles with prize = travel costs to the nationals! Ferry ticket to Marrawah? Get some of the young talent out there!

PS: Where were you all? - Goolwa - 11 - 1 pm Sunday - 18 -24 knots, Hero waves with 1 m faces. Bit of a glug out but beautiful clean fast faces. Reasonable banks so a peeling wave. The bigger ones folded early and reformed but there was enough wind to fly past the whitewater back onto the wave proper. Just me and pair of the biggest dolphins I've ever seen - the length of my board! (yes they were dolphins - they came up to breath - eventually!)

We ended up at day street 1/2 a dozen out - had an hour sail and an SUP a bit later. Couldn't see any one else and the crew were already out when we got to day st

It was 1 ft with krankin 1-1/2 ft sets and a couple of rogue 2ft bombie sets!!!!

Just drove past seaford (0700) on the way to work and its 25knts 2-3ft and looks sweet so if your quick I'd get on it before it goes westerly. Have a look at the Surfsouthoz cam and I'm sure a few of the boys will be on it early.

why oh why do we have to work - especially if you take a a day or morning off and the bosses know its windy!

It's 55 knots average here (Woomera). There was water in some of the lakes, but the over night winds have evaporated them.

Was 57knots peaking near my folks by the airport at 10ish---wouldnt of liked takeoff or landing today!!-wild and wooly

i hate work. worked overlooking middleton all day only to knock off and sail out as the wind dropped.

The sand wasn't too bad, since it's very wet and green here (relatively speaking). 57knots in Adelaide !. I hope my house still has it's roof when I go back home :)
